Me & Mr. Darcy

Dear Reader,

I married him! No…wait, that's wrong.

Emily Albright, however, thinks she wants to marry Mr. Darcy… She's fed up with modern-day men, and who can blame her when her dates calculate her portion of their meals out down to the penny? When Emily's best friend suggests a wild getaway to Mexico (sand, surf, drinks!), Emily panics and flees to England of all places, on a tour of Jane Austen's world. She wants to see the world that inspired her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice.

Much to her horror, she discovers the tour consists of little old ladies, and an annoying reporter named Spike who is writing an article on why the fictional Mr. Darcy has such a claim on women's hearts. Emily doesn't expect to discover that she's not so different from those little old ladies--they were once young and once in love…and some are still in love to this day. Emily also doesn't expect to find herself in the arms of the dashing Mr. Darcy…the actual Mr. Darcy from Austen's novel.

Is she hallucinating? Has she been thrown backward into a fictional time stream? Well that's where half the fun of this novel comes from. Author Potter has a lot of fun with her premise, flipping Emily between Darcy's world and her own. Who is crossing over, can others see Mr. Darcy? And when will Emily realize that it's not Mr. Darcy she's falling in love with, but a much closer, and more available man?

This book is fun, breezy, and bright--just the thing you need, Reader, as we ease out of winter and into spring. Go read!

Yours between the covers,
Lola
